Vakṣu¦, n. of a nāga king: Māy 247.8. Occurs as n. of a river in Skt., and in Māy 252.34; identified with the [Page467-a+ 71] Oxus. The n. of the river is used as the n. of a nāga-king, cf. Mvy 3304--7, and s.v. Pakṣu.
