The four empties or the sense of vacuity that arises in conjuction with the four states of subtle consciousnesses, viz. the mind of radiant white appearance, the mind of radiant red increase, the mind of black near-attainment and the clear light mind, respectively while experiencing the stages of dissolution at death.
