The obeisance for identifying the three baskets of teachings (see { sde snod gsum}). All Vinaya texts begin with the line, 'obeisance to the all-knowing one'. All [sūtrapiṭaka] texts begin with the line, 'obeisance to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas', and all [abhidharmapiṭakas] begin with the line, 'obeisance to the youthful [manjuṡrī].
