The Phagdru Kagyud Order. One of the divisions of the Kagyud order of Tibetan Buddhism founded by Phagmo Drupa (1110-1170), the chief disciple of Gampopa. He\nmastered the art of writing and painting without being taught. His eight disciples founded the eight sub-sects of the Kagyud.
