According to the Abhidharma tradition, a small aeon refers to the extent of time it takes for the human life-span to increase from ten years of age up to a maximum of eighty-thousand at a rate of only one year every century, as well as to decrease down to a minimum often years of human life span at the same rate, i.e. one year every century. This comes to billions of human years. |
