Of the ten endowments (see {'byor ba bcu}) the five factors required to be fulfilled in the environment in which one lives:\n1. {sangs rgyas 'jig rten na byon pa/} Buddha's having come\n2. {dam pa'i chos gsungs pa/} His having taught the doctrine\n3. {bstan pa gnas pa/} the existence of His doctrine\n4. {de'i rjes 'jug yod pa /} the existence of His followers\n5. {gzhan phyir rtag tu snying brtse ba/} being compassionate towards others.
