[dhāraṇī]/ Retention power ([dhāraṇī]). The ability to hold words and meanings of the dharma through the force of exalted mindfulness and wisdom. Also means mantras ({gzungs sngags}) through the power of which one summons blessings and the ability to eliminate interfering forces.
