[naiyāyika]/ Logicians. Proponents of non-Buddhist tenets who follow Brahma [akṣapāda] in asserting that all objects of knowledge are included in six categories (see {tshig don drug}). This school is known by the name 'logician,' because they follow the logical system taught by their teacher {akasaapa}ā{da}. The general presentation of their tenets are basically the same as those asserted by the [vaiṡeṣika] (particularist) school of Hindu philosophy.
