The Tusita Buddha field; the pure land where the future Buddha, Maitreya would give teachings, also called the joyous field of virtue and mental happiness (dga'-ldan yid-dga' chos-'dzin); one of the six heavens of the gods of desire realm. It is also known to be the heaven for Bodhisattvas obstructed by a single birth from attaining Buddhahood. B. The Ganden monastery founded by JeTsong Khapain\n1408.
