[kleṡa manas]/ The deluded mind. One of the eight groups of consciousnesses (see {rnam shes tshogs brgyad}). It is recognized as an obstructive unspecified primary consciousness (sgrib lung-ma bstan) that takes the foundation or fundamental consciousness (see {kun gzhi rnam shes}) as its object and maintains ego-grasping with respect to it until the person has attained the [ārya] path.
