[kleṡa vijñгna]/ The deluded consciousness; the afflicted mind. It is one of the eight types of consciousnesses (see {rnam shes tshogs brgyad}) asserted by the [cittamātrin] school of thought. The deluded mind is an obstructed and unspecified conceptual consciousness that takes the foundational consciousness as its focal object and grasps at it as being a substantially existent self, etc.
