(med) Of the medicinal plants ti mu sa, the Shel gong shel phreng describes 3 types : lo btsan chen po (tall plant with whitish-blue flowers of high mountains, g.yu lung (light blue flowers, of lower altitudes) and bya rkang (dark blue flowers, of lowest altitudes (Kletter 2001). For 'Jam-dpal all 3 groupes are synonymous.
