The [[Shugseb Kagyu]] lineage (shug gseb) was established by [[Gyergom Chenpo Zhönnu Drakpa]] (gyer sgom chen po gzhon nu grags pa, 1090-1171). He was the founder of the Shugseb monastery in Nyiphu. Shugseb Kagyu

Their teachings were based on the various Doha cycles, spiritual songs of realisation by Indian masters such as Saraha, Shavaripa, Tilopa, Naropa, Maitripa etc.
