Member of the branch of the Gya (rgya) clan descending from [[Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje]]'s eldest brother Lhatsen. The son of [[Drukpa Zhonnu Senge]]'s younger brother Lopon Rinchen Pel. Nyima Senge was the third of the 'Nine Lions' (seng ge dgu) important in the early history of the 'Brug pa Bka' brgyud pa school.

Nyima Senge (1251-1287)

Member of the branch of the Gya (rgya) clan descending from Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje's eldest brother Lhatsen. The son of Drukpa Zhonnu Senge's younger brother Lopon Rinchen Pel. Nyima Senge was the third of the 'Incomparable Nine Lions' (mnyam med seng ge dgu) important in the early history of the 'Brug pa Bka' brgyud pa school. Became the throne holder of Ralung at the age of 16.
