The [[Shugseb Kagyu]] lineage (shug gseb) was established by [[Gyergom Chenpo Zhonnu Drakpa]] (gyer sgom chen po gzhon nu grags pa, 1090-1171). He was the founder of the Shugseb monastery in Nyiphu. Their teachings were based on the various Doha cycles, spiritual songs of realisation by Indian masters such as [[Saraha]], [[Shavaripa]], [[Tilopa]], [[Naropa]], [[Maitripa]] etc.

Shugseb Kagyu
The Shugseb Kagyu lineage (shug gseb) was established by Gyergom Chenpo Zhonnu Drakpa (gyer sgom chen po gzhon nu grags pa, 1090-1171). He was the founder of the Shugseb monastery in Nyiphu. Their teachings were based on the various Doha cycles, spiritual songs of realisation by Indian masters such as Saraha, Shavaripa, Tilopa, Naropa, Maitripa etc.
