Wylie mtshan thub
Wylie Definition Literally, an 'all night lasting' light. In Nomads 269 there is one at the top of the stove, evidently in order to preserve the fire for the next day. It is also a religious practice (known in late 12th century works of Zhang Rin-po-che) to offer butterlamps that will last all night.
