Abiding Nature of Reality (gnas lugs) The “abiding nature of reality” is a synonym for the ultimate truth or emptiness of the expanse of actual reality (dharmadhātu). This “abiding” mode (gnas tshul) of emptiness is contrasted with the “apparent” mode (snang tshul) of relative appearances.
