Fruits from prostrate junipers. The general term shug pa comprises cypress species and junipers. In the Shel gong, spa ma (prostrate, often highland junipers) and rgya shug (cypress species) are treated in the fruit section of medicinal trees, and shug pa tsher can (upright junipers) in the leaf section.
