1. Artemisia japonica Thunb. (Asteraceae) Mugwort, Japanese Wormwood (Kletter 2001)
2. Artemisia capillaris Thunb. (Asteraceae) Fragrant Wormwood ('Phrin Las 1987)
3. Artemisia rupestris L. (Asteraceae) White Wormwood, Yan hao (Molvray 1988 G)

The Shel gong shel phreng describes a white and black type. yog mo dkar po has long stalks, the leaves are white underneath. Flowers are light yellow and resemble spra ba. yog mo nag po has dark blue flowers and small, light green leaves with rounded tips. The third type of tshar bong (another group of Artemisia spp), tshar bong nag po, is not described, but said to be similar to yog mo (Kletter 2001). See also mkhan pa, tshar bong and phur mong for other Artemisia spp.
