*The daughter of [[King Trisong Deutsen]], to whom Padmasambhava entrusted his own lineage of the Great Perfection known as [[Khandro Nyingtig]]. She died at an early age, after which Padmasambhava miraculously called her back to life. When her father asked why someone with the great merit to be both a princess and a disciple of the [[Lotus-Born master]] had to die while still a child, Padmasambhava told the story of how she had been a bee who stung one of the four brothers during the completion of the [[Great Stupa of Boudhanath]]. Pema Sal means 'Radiant Lotus.' [RY]
