DharmaDictionary.net aims to be:

• a dictionary of current usage
• a record of the recent and present-day Tibetan Buddhist teachers, translators & Translation groups involved in bringing the Dharma into the English language
• a site for current shedra schools in international locations
• a compilation site for dictionaries and glossaries between Tibetan and English
• access to online Tibetan texts in Wylie format
• a website of Resources and Translation-tools for lotsawas and scholars
• a database of common Quotes used in Tibetan literature
• a listing of historically important Buddhist Masters, Lineages, & Literature
• a place to include glossaries, indices and other backmatter material of old and new translation works
• as non-sectarian and open-minded as possible
• available on the Internet for free use by everyone
• dynamic and growing, rather than static and stagnant
• a lotsawa-network with a database of translations of major and minor texts.
