(med) "Secondary qualities"
The 17 "secondary qualities" of medicinal substances include the 8 "qualities" (nus pa)  : lci (heavy), snum (oily), bsil (cool), rtul (blunt), yang (light), rtsub (coarse), tsha (hot) and rno (sharp) and furthermore 'jam (smooth), dro (warm), brtan (stable), grang (cold), mnyen (flexible), sla (fluid), skam (dry), skye (non-oily) and g.yo (mobile). Further criteria are the 3 "natures" (ngo bo), 6 "tastes" (ro) and 8 "qualities" (nus pa)
