1. Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal (Solanaceae) Wintercherry (Molvray 1988 Dh). Reported name ba dzi gan dha.
2. Paeonia lactiflora Pall. (Paeoniaceae) Paeony (Bolsokhoyeva 2007). Northern substitute in the Buryat tradition, it's roots replacing the roots of Withania somnifera (Bolsokhoyeva 2007)
3. Mirabilis himalaica (Edgew.) Heimerl (Nyctaginaceae) Umbrellawort (Wangyal 2020)
4. Asparagus cochinchinensis (Lour.) Merr. (Asparagaceae) Chinese asparagus (Lama 2001 Dolpo). Reported name a so gan dha. Generally, the name for Asparagus is nye shing.

"It is classified into 3 varieties, the best with white flower, the medium with red and the last with dark red flower. The last one with dark red flower closely resembles thang phrom (Scopolia stramonifolia) and thus advised not to use in medicine" (Dawa 1999). thal 'bras (syn) due to the ash-like colour of the root bark. The sanskrit name refers to Withania somnifera (ba dzi gandha in Molvray)
