the Eight Auspicious Articles [blessed by the Buddha 1) (mirror, me long; 2) curds, zho; 3) panicum dactylo grass rtsva dur ba; 4) wood-apple fruit, shing tog bil ba; 5) right-coiling conch shell, dung g.yas 'khyil; 6)bezoar/ (elephant bile), ghi wang; 7) vermilion powder, li khri; 8) white mustard seeds, yungs kar.]. the eight auspicious substances:

  1. mirror or looking glass. - མེ་ལོང། - me long.
  2. curds - ཞོ། - zho.
  3. panicum dactylon grass - རྩྭ་དུར་བ། - rtsva dur ba.
  4. wood-apply fruit - ཤིང་ཏོག་བིལ་བ། - shing tog bil ba.
  5. right-coiling conch shell - དུང་གཡས་འཁྱིལ། - dung g.yas 'khyil.
  6. bezoars, [elephant bile] - གྷི་ཝང། - ghi wang.
  7. vermilion powder - ལི་ཁྲི། - li khri.
  8. white mustard seeds - ཡུངས་ཀར། - yungs kar. [RY]
