"'''mkhan skya''' has a sweet smell and the entire herb is used as incence in Tibet" (Dawa 2009). The other types are '''dkar''' (also '''mkhan a krong'''), '''dmar''' and '''nag''', the latter is bad smelling. mkhan skya is described as good smelling and the principal mkhan pa type in the Shel gong phreng. "mkhan skya has a sweet smell and the entire herb is used as incence in Tibet" (Dawa 2009). The other types are dkar (also mkhan a krong), dmar and nag, the latter is bad smelling. See also phur mong, tshar bong or yog mo for other Artemisia spp. and also other types of a krong.
