In the Mahayoga, this is the transmission of teachings from the Bodhisattva Vajrapani to a group of five beings: a deva, a yaksha, a rakshasa, a naga and a human. In his Narration of the Precious Revelation of the Terma Treasures, Longchen Rabjam rephrases the same sequence from the Sanglingma so that the Six Sadhana Sections refer to the six scriptures mentioned just above.
