The [[Baram Kagyu]] lineage (’ba’ ram) was established by [[Baram Darma Wangchuk]] (’ba’ ram dar ma dbang phyug, 1127-1199). It was continued mainly as a family lineage. One of its famous early masters was the “Protector of Beings” [[Tishi Repa]] (’gro mgon ti shri ras pa).
